Acton Muslim History Treasure Hunt
Saturday 9 November 10.30 – 14.00
Acton Mosque, 2-5 Oldham Terrace, Acton, London W3 6LS
A treasure hunt around Acton Muslim History sites followed by a tour and lunch at Acton Mosque. Invitations exclusively to members of the Outreach Ealing contacts
Teams of up to 6 (people of various faiths accompanied by Outreach Ealing Muslim volunteer) would be given a clue to a Muslim History site and asked to send a photo of a specific artifact. If they send it correctly then they will receive further clues. The final clue will lead them back to Acton mosque where they will need to locate the final artifact. The first team to do this will win a prize.
Abdul Maalik Tailor, Britain's first professionally qualified Muslim Tour Guide and Acton Resident, will explain the Muslim heritage significance of each site that the groups have visited.
