A talk and discussion on secularism - is it a necessity in a multifaith society?

A talk on secularism followed by discussion.
The three element of secularism are:
1. Separation of religious institutions from the state.
2. Freedom of thought and religion.
3. No state discrimination on the grounds of religion or belief.
The talk will examine the history of these ideas and their necessity in a world of multifaith societies.
