Watford Interfaith Pilgrimage

Sunday 19 November 12.45 – 17.00

Five venues, starting at Watford and District Synagogue, Nascot Road , Watford, WD18

The pilgrimage starts at Watford and District Synagogue at 12.45 with Kosher cakes and refreshments served by members of the Jewish youth community on Mitzvah Day. It then moves to Val Murugan Hindu Temple, on to Central Mosque, Holy Rood Catholic Church and finishing at the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara at 5.00pm where there will be refreshments. At each place of worship there will be either a talk or someone will show pilgrims around, with a chance to ask questions.

Important information Please note that modest dress should be worn, with legs and arms covered. Shoes must be removed in the mosque and Hindu and Sikh temples, so it is advisable to wear shoes that are easy to step in and out of. Heads must be covered in these places too.
There are no age or ability restraints, all are welcome. The route accommodates wheels as well as feet, and is free of charge.
