‘One World Festival’ at the Ashmolean

To mark Inter Faith Week the Ashmolean Museum is organising a 'One World Festival'. There will be talks, Indian classical and folk dance and singing, henna artistry and a Rangoli workshop. There will also be a trail through Gallery 32 which takes viewers to the highlights in the Indian collection.

Speakers include Chandra Vadivale, who will talk on ‘Imaging the Divine’ in relation to ‘Imagining the Divine’, and Shaunaka Rishi Das, Director of Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, on ‘What has Hinduism brought to the World?’.
