Interfaith Football Match

An interfaith football match between the Manchester Jewish Soccer League (MJSL) and a Muslim Youth XI will take place on Thursday 23 November 2017 at the Co-Op Academy in Blackley kick-off 8pm.
Russell Bernstein MJSL Secretary said “he is delighted that this fixture has been arranged and is looking forward to the game becoming an annual event in both communities diary.”
Majid Dar Operations Manager says “we at Community (Youth) on Solid Ground (YSG) are all encouraged in bringing the communities together and looking forward to inspiring all involved to make this an annual event”.
Colin Bridgford Chief Executive Officer of Manchester FA commented “Football is for everyone and this Interfaith Game to take place on the 23RD November is a wonderful opportunity to illustrate the role football has in bringing communities together. I am looking forward to joining everyone and enjoying the game”.
