Tuesday 14 November
University of Leicester, Leicester, LE1 7RH
This event is taking place during Interfaith Week. The University is collaborating with the St Philip's Centre and The Chaplaincy to engage students in an informal discussion about the city and getting involved in the community through various faith and community-driven initiatives (eg: support for the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers).
The event will take place over the lunch period. We’ve invited speakers from various faith backgrounds to talk about their respective initiatives and ways in which students can get involved. Students will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and sign-up to the various volunteering opportunities at their disposal.
