Lecture Theatre C, Avenue Campus, University of Southampton, SO17 1BF

The Parkes Institute at the University of Southampton is holding an evening talk to mark Inter Faith Week on the theme of 'Jews, Christians and Muslims. What do they think about each other?' The talk will be delivered by Professor Tony Kushner, Marcus Sieff Professor of the History of Jewish/non-Jewish Relations at the University of Southampton. The lecture will explore inter faith relations in Britain between Jews, Christians and Muslims at a grassroots level, asking what the barriers are to imagining the religious 'other', and how these can be overcome.
