Inter-Faith Tree Planting

Tuesday 14 November 10.45 – 12.30

Thornes Park, Denby Dale Road, Wakefield WF2 8DY

The symbolic planting of an oak tree by people of all faiths and none, supported by WMDC Arboricultural Officer and Wakefield Tree Warden, attended by the Mayor of Wakefield. People of all ages and abilities welcome.
Followed by refreshments in a nearby church with the opportunity for people of different faiths to share thoughts on trees and the environment and write messages for the Tree of Hope.
