To celebrate Inter Faith Week 2017 and encourage cycling among residents and visitors, Westminster City Council's road safety team has joined forces with the Westminster Faith Exchange and Cycle Confident to create two leisurely cycle rides around some of the borough's many fascinating places of worship.
The route will depart from the Buddhist Society in Eccleston Square on Saturday, and from the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom in Bayswater on Sunday. Riders can join at any of the places of worship, with some background information being given at each site. Riders are asked to dress moderately in consideration of the nature of the landmarks and buildings they will be visiting.
