The third of a Course of four lectures, entitled "1918 - 2018 - 100 Years On: Striving for Peace," by 'UNA Walden' (Saffron Walden & District Branch of the United Nations Association). The other dates being 18th Sept, 17th Oct and 12th Dec.
Tonight's lecture is by the former Secretary of State, Baroness Shirley Williams, entitled "Building the UN: The Making of Multilateral Peace." Mr David Barrs, Head Teacher of the Anglo European School, will be Chairing this and "Conflict or Peace, as seen by the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross)," on 12th Dec.
