Be a faith community champion to support people affected by domestic violence

Tuesday 13 November 13.30 – 16.30

City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ

Do people naturally talk to you? Have you found yourself realising that someone in your faith community might be a victim or perpetrator of domestic violence, and you weren't sure how to broach this with them or support them? This half day free Community Champions workshop will help you understand the signs and symptoms of domestic violence, and become confident in signposting people to the specialist support services available in Leicester and Leicestershire. Our aim is to train Community Champions in every faith setting across Leicestershire.
