100 hearts, 100 years, 100 days of prayer. The Great War - “The war to end all wars” and Peace in our time?

Tuesday 6 November 18.30 – 20.00

Our Lady of Compassion Parish Hall, 2 Castle Street, Saffron Walden, Essex CB10 1BP

In the week leading up to the centenary of the end of the Great War, the monthly meeting is devoted to the "11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month." This is also the start of Inter Faith Week 2018. The regular 'first Tuesday' get together shall discuss the coming Sunday's armistice remembrance.
The group was set up with the agenda of peace and with respectful dialogue among peoples of faith and none, may achieve this. In order to help get to know others, this evening will involve people presenting a belief, not of their own, in an attempt to understand more. "We're all different, but not so different" - All are welcome. Listen, learn and contribute.
Chelmsford's Light Parade ends this armistice day of remembrance and sadness, with hope, and Inter Faith Week, is full of hope.
