Event listings index

Welcome to the Inter Faith Week 2012 events listing pages.

Each page displays the listings in different ways. You can navigate to the listings using the menu items in the column on the left, or using the horizontal menu at the top of this page.

■ Map of all events - this page shows all events arranged on a map of the UK. You can use the map to search for events near where you live/ work, and get a feel for how many events are taking place across the Week.

■ Full listings by day - this page shows all events due to take place today, with a full description of the event visible, and a map at the bottom. Events are in ascending order of start time, but all-day and all-week events appear before those with listed start times. You can also select other days of the Week from a grid.

■ All events summary list  - this page shows all registered events as a list, arranged by date and time. It includes a truncated description of each event to aid browsing.

■ Events by day/ place - Similar to 'Full listings by day', but without the event descriptions shown.

■ Accessible events - Many events have been submitted with information about the accessibility of the venue. This page features a map of all events, and a series of checkboxes corresponding to different accessibility criteria. Simply select all accessibility criteria relevant to you, and click 'update calendar'. The map will then only show events where the venue meets the accessibility criteria selected, for example, only events held in venues with disabled parking, wheelchair access and hearing induction loop facilities. You can then refine by location using the map.

■ Types of event - this page displays a map of all events, with checkboxes enabling you to narrow the events displayed according to the types of events. Simply check the boxes that interest you, and click 'update calendar'. You have two options - you can set the page to either match ALL of the boxes you selected (by selecting 'match all categories') or to match ANY of the boxes you selected (select 'Match any category'). So, for example, if you want to attend an event that is both dialogue and social action, you would check 'match all categories'; but if you were interested in either dialogue or social action events, you would check 'match any category'. You can then refine by location using the map.

■ Event restrictions - this page can be used in ways similar to the Types of event page, to select events based on their restrictions. For example, if you only want to view events which are free to attend and open to everybody, you can display these using the checkboxes. Again, you can then refine by location using the map.
